CAMP SITE AT ‘IRON KNOB' SA FOR THE RV TRAVELLER

We had the pleasure of calling into the township of Iron Knob SA on our journey to WA in September 2009 at which time we visited the "Iron Knob Information Centre & Museum" - the staff were very welcoming - the Information Centre is well worth a visit and mine tours are also available..

On our return home from WA we again called into Iron Knob and stayed overnight at their campsite, an area beside the Post Office.  This campsite has been set up by the Iron Knobb Progress Association for the RV traveller and is very accommodating.  The amenities, including the toilet for disabled people are spotless, there is a sheltered BBQ area and tank water available with plans in progress to install a dump point and clothesline.
