A report from one of our members  After we left Deniliquin in April we headed to Wentworth where we stayed at a great caravan park called Fort Courage.

We had the misfortune to have our vehicle broken into at a popular tourist spot on the Sunshine Coast.

We had the pleasure of calling into the township of Iron Knob SA on our journey to WA in September 2009 at which time we visited the "Iron Knob Information Centre & Museum" - the staff were very welcoming - the Information Centre is well worth a visit and mine tours are also available..


A 36-year-old female had an accident several weeks ago and totalled her car. A resident of Wollongong, NSW.   She was travelling between Wollongong and Sydney


Canowindra Caravan Park, Canowindra. Canowindra is 33km north of Cowra travelling toward Orange. Our member Aus 075 recommends it for the following reasons

On a recent 10 day caravan trip to Marree to fly over Lake Eyre we came across 2 new and 1 very good campsites.

On our return home from S.A. recently, we had the pleasure of staying at the "Black Cockatoo Bush Camp", approx. 14 klms from the township of Naracoorte, owned and operated by Ken & Elizabeth Yelland.

A special article from a pair of travelling members.  "We would like to thank the  organisors for wonderful organisation of the 10th birthday celebrations at Casino Village RV Resort NSW.

Sixteen members and two guests arrived at the Marong Caravan Village during the Get-Together and stayed for varying amounts of time due to other commitments

It was lovely to be greeted at the Southern Ocean Tourist park by members who had drifted form one caravan club gathering to another!

It may be said that the Tumut Showground Get-together was a friendly and happy success

With days to spare to travel through the outback from Broken Hill to the AGM at Tanunda, we stopped off at various spots to have a browse around the sites of old settlements along the Adelaide to Sydney railway.

31 Club members enjoyed a wonderful week of friendship and activities at the Milton Showground.

The National Get together held in the Yarrawonga Holiday Park brought members from all over Australia together again for what was truly a great rally.

The Swan Hill Get-Together was a great success with 35 member units turning up.

Another North Queensland Tourist Season is in full swing as there are enormous numbers of caravans and motorhomes travelling around this delightfully scenic part of Australia.

The National Get-Together and Annual General Meeting was held in Wagga Wagga N S W  from 16 October to 23 October 2007.

31 RVs attended this extremely well organised Get-Together. There was so much to see...

An excellent and enjoyable Get-Together was held in Bright. Read more in our news section

We were told that it was the friendliest town in Queensland and from our first day there we found that this was correct due to the fact that you walked down the street and every one spoke to you.

The Get-Together at Mylestrom was a great success.

What a feeling of anticipation, what a wonderful experience, and what better way than to travel with other members of a great Club along the Oodnadatta Track.
