Back to News Briefs 14th National Rally of Caravan Clubs The 14th Nation Rally of all Caravan Clubs from Australia will be held at Elmore Special Events Centre with the gates opening on 30 December 2010 for days of making new friends, fun and entertainment. Elmore is situated half way between Echuca, famous for its paddleboats, and Bendigo, that has much to offer ranging from classical old buildings to Talking Tram Tours. Also to be found in Bendigo is one of the top Chinese Museums of the world. Each night of the rally, that runs to 11 January 2011, there will be entertainment from top line artists with two nights put aside for club concert nights, which is alway a lot of fun. During the day there will be Trade Displays, where you can buy a new caravan or a gadget as well. There will be a market day, to enable members to display their goods and sell them to other members or visiting public. All in all there will be much to keep us all amused. The cost of the rally is $350.00, which covers site fees and nighttime entertainment. This is great value for money. Payment of the the fees can be spread over the coming months. There will be coach tours, craft lessons, basic computer lessons and daily information sessions in the big shed. For further information on how to get an application form to attend the rally go to www.accvic.org.au and look for the rally link. Information can also be obtained from our President or our Treasurer who are both our club delegates to the rally. Members of our club will, for the first time, be able to wear their state colours on the security tags. Sorry, no dogs allowed at these rallies, but there will be boarding kennels nearby. We wish to have you join us there |
