The Annual General Meeting of the Australasian Touring Caravan, Motorhome and Camping Club Inc will be held in the Goulburn Valley Hotel, Benalla Road, Shepparton, Victoria on Sunday 24 October 2010 
The Kyogle showground trust is seeking expressions of interest from people who have the skills to provide caretaking duties under a contract or licence under the NSW Lands Act (tasks, hours of duty and length of time are negotiable), in return for a free motor home, caravan site with water and power included. The successful applicant would be given a choice of site.
The 2010 Annual General Meeting Get-Together of the Club will be held in Shepparton, Victoria. The Get-Together will commence on Monday 18 October 2010 - and for the information of members, not the 12 October 2010 as mentioned in the Club's "The Traveller" magazine.

This article appeared in Caravan and Motorhome on Tour Magazine Regardless of what Club we belong to, where we live, or what vehicle we drive, all Recreational Vehicle (RV) owners around Australia are affected by the same issues. RV owners represent a significant portion of the population and are a key domestic tourism sector. Therefore, when making representations to government, it's important that the RV industry presents a collective voice on matters that affect us.

When the CMCA appoint a RV Friendly town they do so for all travellers. The following article has been supplied to us by the CMCA, with their permission, explaining the criterior that has to be met to become an RV friendly town.

We arrived at the Berry Showground in heavy rain, 2 days before the commencement of the Get-together, on Monday 1st. March, to tie up the loose ends. To our surprise, 10 of our vans arrived on Monday and by Tuesday night, with clearing weather, there were a total of 19 vans.

DENILIQUIN NATIONAL GET-TOGETHER - March 16-23 2010 A total of 42 member units attended the get-together at Deniliquin and no time was wasted in catching up with old friends. At Happy Hour the President welcomed everyone, visitors and first-time attendees especially. An information speaker from the Peppin Heritage Centre (Denise) came along and gave a very interesting talk on local history, places of interest etc. After which the club put on a welcome sausage sizzle - it was all very relaxing.

Being an RV tourist in Australia brings with it certain responsibilities. CMCA spend a considerable amount of their resources in lobbying governments at all levels for increased and improved benefits for all mobile tourists travelling throughout this wonderful country.

Report on the Milton Showground Get-together 20th to 27th May 2009. The Get-together commenced with a couple of wet days, however this did not interfere with a visit south to Mogo Zoo on Thursday for a few and on Friday to see "The Reader" at the movies for most. The movie was very popular with some Club husbands now reading to their spouses.
